Self-Checkout

Self-checkout lane installation and integration — units mounted, powered, networked, and tied into your POS — installed, tested, and documented for consistent multi-store deployment.

We deploy self-checkout lanes end to end: setting and leveling units, running low-voltage power and dedicated data drops, connecting scanners, scales, card readers, receipt printers, and security scales, and integrating each lane with your POS and store network. Crews terminate and certify the cabling, validate payment and peripheral connectivity, and confirm each lane transacts before handover. Cabling is installed and tested to ANSI/TIA-568 with documented results, and network drops support the throughput your lanes require. For fleet rollouts we standardize lane layout, labeling, and network addressing so every store is built and supported the same way. You get as-builts, certification reports, and a per-lane sign-off.

What's included

  • Lane placement, unit setting, and leveling per store layout

  • Cabling termination and certification to ANSI/TIA-568
  • Peripheral connection: scanners, scales, card readers, printers
  • POS and store-network integration and addressing
  • Transaction validation and payment/peripheral testing per lane

Deliverables

  • As-built lane layout and cabling documentation
  • Cable certification report per drop
  • Per-lane transaction-test sign-off and staff orientation

Frequently asked

Can you integrate self-checkout with our existing POS platform?

Yes. We connect each lane to your POS and store network and validate that transactions, payment authorization, and peripherals all function before sign-off. We follow your platform's configuration so lanes behave identically to your attended registers. [CONFIRM POS platform]

Do you provide the network drops the lanes need?

We run, terminate, and certify the low-voltage cabling to each lane to ANSI/TIA-568, with documented test results. Dedicated drops support the throughput and PoE needs of the units, and every cable is labeled in the as-built record.

Can you deploy lanes across multiple stores consistently?

Yes. We standardize lane layout, cable labeling, and network addressing across your fleet and document each store the same way. That keeps support simple and ensures a uniform shopper experience chain-wide.
